I
am moving to Boston on Friday to go to Berklee. I anticipate a fascinating
and extremely challenging experience-- nothing more and nothing less.
I am returning to Cincinnati on September 27th to play at the Midpoint
Music Festival. Please check out shows for
more details, and also the updated multimedia
section.

I'm
back in Cincinnati for the summer after my first year at college. I decided
to transfer from the University of Missouri-Columbia to Berklee College
of Music, so I'll be moving to Boston in early September to pursue my
musical studies there.
I've
booked some gigs this summer in Cincinnati. Check out the shows
section for an updated list. The soonest one is next Thursday, May 24th
at Dirty Jacks.
I'm very excited because two of my very favorite local artists: Peter
Adams and Lisa Walker
of wussy will be playing as well.
As
always, the myspace is the
best place to find out what I'm up to and get news/show info/new recordings/etc.
One could convincingly argue that myspace has rendered band homepages
obsolete. Nevertheless, I'll keep updating this guy periodically, just
in case.

I
added a new show for January 26th. It's my first
real gig in CoMo so I'm excited. Also, I'm playing bass guitar in a band
called Blevins? So check out the track "Cut My Losses" at Blevins?'s
myspace wherein I contribute piano, bass, and backup vocals. As always,
the most up-do-date info on my comings and goings can be found on the
myspace...Happy
new years!!

So,
I'm moving tomorrow to Missouri for college. The best way to keep track
of my comings and goings will be the myspace...Lata.

Some
good news and bad news. The good news is that I have a few new shows lined
up.
I'm opening for Katie Reider on July
14th at Club 202 in Columbus, and I'm opening for the Walker
Project on July 18th at the Northside Tavern. I am real excited to
be a part of these shows!
But here's the bad news: I had to cancel my show with Julie
Neumark in August because I'm leaving for college the day before the
show, which all sucks a lot.
In
other news, "My Love" continues its upward
ascent on the garageband charts. It's currently track of the week,
ranked 19 in the alternative pop category, and has an 4.8 average star
rating (out of 5).

I
just added a show at the Northside Tavern for
June 13. I'll be doing a 30 minute solo set along with other singer-songwriters,
including Lisa Walker of
the band, wussy.
Also,
I created an account on indieclectic, an itunes-like service. You can
purchase
my songs for 99 cents a piece. Of course, you can download
my material for free on this website, but it'd be cool if you felt
like supporting the artist. I
created a garageband.com
account too.

I recorded yet another rough mix (there is nothing else in my
musical world at the moment) of a Peter Adams song:
"Cementalisque."
Peter is a young Cincinnati musician whose self-released debut,
The Spiral Eyes has some
truly incredible pop songwriting and production.

Another
rough mix of a new song is available for download. It's called Landfill
and it's different from anything I've done before so check it.
(I probably shouldn't be putting unfinished tracks out there, but o well,
haha).

New song
called "Stuck in Stone"
is available for download. Very rough mix but check it out regardless.

New site design up and running.
